HAMILTON PARK

Race 2 No2 AMANCIO
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Connor Beasley

AMANCIO ran well in a better race than this at Kempton before experiencing a hazardous trip at Chester where he ran on onto the money when the birds had flown. He faces a promising foe in Nominal Event as well as a well related newcomer in Esquire but can show he isn’t making the long haul to this part of Scotland just for the goodness of his health.

Race 5 No1 GLENDOWN (Nap)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

GLENDOWN has earned in all but two of his nine outings since returning from a year’s absence, including successes at Ripon and Chester. His stable is doing well with its sprint handicappers, and he is more likely than the majority of his rivals to run his race.

Race 7 No2 WILLINGLY
Trainer: Mark Usher – Jockey: Owen Lewis

WILLINGLY is another long distance traveller who should return to Lambourn with a cheque of some kind. She returns to the trainer that sent her out to score on three of her final five starts in 2022, and is ready to endorse with another success the promise of her good run in defeat at Ffos Las at the start of the month.

LEICESTER

Race 1 No14 KALAMA SUNRISE (Each Way)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Rose Dawes

From her place at the base of the handicap KALAMA SUNRISE can get involved in the finish of a wide open bottom tier handicap. Her first semblance of form came with an improved display at Musselburgh. It was her first run on turf, and first in a handicap, and on just a fifth career start today she can go one better.

Race 2 No11 LINE OF FIRE
Trainer: Rod Millman – Jockey: Tom Marquand

Another getting weight from her field is LINE OF FIRE. She opened her account at Brighton in first time blinkers, an exercise that has lifted her confidence level. She retains the headgear, with Marquand an eye taking booking for her.

Race 5 No2 DOHA (Nap)
Trainer: Ralph Beckett – Trainer: Rossa Ryan

Sea The Stars filly DOHAstayed on for a minor cheque on debut at Kempton. She steps up to what should prove a more suitable mile and a quarter having learned much from that first foray onto the track, and should make no mistake.

Race 6 No4 SAN FRANCISCO BAY
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Trevor Whelan

Candy has done well campaigning SAN FRANCISCO BAY, who he also owns, to score on two of its last three starts and finish second in the other. The Muhaarar gelding came home unchallenged in first time cheek pieces at Lingfield and in current mood should take plenty of stopping.

WARWICK

Race 1 No1 HANDS OFF (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: Nico de Boinville

HANDS OFF comes with risks attached after running out on his latest start at Doncaster, but the fact remains he’s better than he’s shown on the track so far, and on this seasonal return can prove too strong for Hereford bumper winner Mikamoto.

Race 6 No5 PINNACLE PEAK
Trainer: Martin Keighley- Jockey: Sean Bowen

Under a 4lb higher mark than when delivering on his Worcester return, PINNACLE PEAK can become another winner for title race leader Sean Bowen. The selections moves up the distance ladder but while on such good terms with himself needs staying within this clash with another first time back scorer in Sea The Clouds.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 3 No1 NEZEEH (Nap)
Trainer: Saeed Bin Suroor – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

The gelded NEZEEH needs to overcome a tricky outer draw in this novice run round a left-handed bend, but if breaking smartly should be up to the task in hand. He was impressive on his first outing at Thirsk, and can have the measure of Pen Portrait who himself ran with plenty of promise on his debut at the same course.

Race 4 No1 CORONATION COTTAGE (Each Way)
Trainer: Malcolm Saunders – Jockey: Charlie Bennett

From a plum draw four off the fence CORONATION COTTAGE should again trouble the judge. While the vast majority of her races have happened on grass, she was a winner over five furlongs here four years ago, returns to sand after 25 consecutive outings on turf.

Race 8 No6 STYLE OF LIFE (Each Way)
Trainer: Jamie Osborne – Jockey: Nicola Currie

One that jumps off the page in the nightcap is STYLE OF LIFE. The daughter of New Bay has a plum draw for this first run in a handicap and went very close against Passing Time on her latest start at Ffos Las. Currie has ridden her before, and there should be plenty of room for progression in this new sphere.

Place Accumulator Perm (Races 2-8)

9, 5 x 1, 11 x 1, 9, 11 x 2, 9 x 6, 2, 1 x 7, 10 x 6, 9
