Newton Abbot

Race 1 – Walk In Clover 13/10

Two runner contest. WALK IN CLOVER (1) resumes after a four month break having finished a good fourth at Uttoxeter prior to the spell. Multiple winner over fences and that experience could be an advantage.

Race 2 – Astroman 15/10

ASTROMAN (5) returned after a three month break with a defeat in a novice handicap chase. Returns to hurdles which could prove positive and remains on a fair mark. Top chance.

Race 3 – Manimole 1/11

MANIMOLE (1) has been in excellent form with two wins and three seconds from the past five outings. Caught the eye scoring an easy success at Southwell in latest. Takes on a similar standard of rival.

Race 4 – Frankie Faulkner 1/8

FRANKIE FAULKNER (1) sets the form standard. Placed twice since a win including a good third in a similar event attempting a shorter journey. Top chance.

Race 5 – Alvaniy 1/33

ALVANIY (1) aims for back to back victories following a 4.5L success in a Galway maiden hurdle. Racing well and is a notable runner for leading yard in Ireland.

Race 6 – Good Impression 1/6

GOOD IMPRESSION (4) caught the eye scoring by 1.75L over course and distance. Seems to enjoy these conditions and must be respected.

Newbury

Race 1 – Hurricane Power 1/5

HURRICANE POWER (6) placed past two outings and draws closer to a well-deserved victory. Brings the benefit of experience and last seen finishing third over 6f at Windsor.

Race 2 – Serene Seraph 1/14

SERENE SERAPH (7) was given a three month break between a debut Doncaster third and second career start where finished 1.3L runner-up at Salisbury. Attempts the same distance.

Race 3 – Pink Satin SP

PINK SATIN (2) made a winning start to career and gone well since. Nicely weighted at current mark based on a Windsor second two attempts ago and rates a leading chance.

Race 4 – King’s Gambit 9/20

KING’S GAMBIT (3) is beautifully bred and improved considerably from first attempt to second. Scored by 0.8L tackling track and trip in latest and capable of backing it up.

Race 5 – Aldaary 1/11

ALDAARY (1) has an opportunity to break through for a Listed success. Revisits easier opposition following a fourth in a small field G1 Sussex Stakes over 1m at Goodwood.

Race 6 – Esmeray 19/100

ESMERAY (6) remains unexposed after three career starts. Justified favouritism when scoring by 4.5L at Ffos Las and tries a longer distance for the first time. Leading chance.

Kempton

Race 1 – Military Leader 1/5

Buick and Appleby teamed up for a four-timer at Yarmouth on Wednesday and their well-bred Dubawi newcomer MILITARY LEADER (9) may have what it takes to be debuting with a win.

Race 2 – Age Of Baroque 1/6

Much like in the first division of this contest it could pay to side with a Charlie Appleby-trained newcomer in AGE OF BAROQUE (1) who is a son of Lope De Vega. Holds plenty of appeal on paper and can provide a winning start.

Race 3 – Whispering Words 1/9

WHISPERING WORDS (1) may take plenty of stopping. The Charlie Appleby trained filly did well tackling this trip at Newmarket (July) in early August and can give away the penalty.

Race 4 – Olympic Candle 2/13

Form of OLYMPIC CANDLE (1) debuting with a third at Newbury took a boost when the winner followed up among Listed company subsequently.

The colt comfortably went a couple of spots better at Ascot next-time-out and there could be plenty more to come from this son of Profitable. May give weight away all round.

Race 5 – Rajindri 59/100

RAJINDRI (5) looks steadily progressive and the Tom Clover filly can follow up a course and distance success recorded a month ago.

Race 6 – Born Ruler 1/3

BORN RULER (2) finished behind WADACRE GOMEZ (6) at Chelmsford earlier in the season. Looked a different proposition winning comfortably over 1 ¼m at Sandown last time and is taken to score under a penalty.

The latter mentioned delivers his first outing since that Chelmsford success and cannot be ruled out.

Race 7 – Dee’s Dream 53/100

With a nice draw in stall six and an unexposed profile attempting 1 ½m DEE’S DREAM (6) looks capable of defying a penalty carried for scoring by 4.5L at Brighton recently.

Race 8 – Sympathise 16/10

SYMPATHISE (1) was on a roll until finishing sixth over 7f at Chepstow. That was possibly one race too many in quick succession for her. Received a break since and it wouldn’t surprise were she set to bounce back with first-time tongue-tie fitted.
